Another succesful transactions by Aumento team of lawyers

In second half of 2020, Aumento Law Firm has assisted a leading German manufacturer of construction and mining equipment with the sale of its Danish subsidiary.
Following a due diligence and negotiation process, the deal was signed mid-December and closed just before New Year 2020.

Our work included negotiations and all legal work, including advice on EU and Danish competition law and drafting of all transaction documents.

The Aumento team was headed by Torben Mauritzen (M&A), Henrik Holtse (Competition), and Jens Bang Liebst (Corporate).

WORK AREAS Torben’s areas of work are – Corporate and real estate M&A– Company law and corporate governance– Real estate development and construction Torben is a member of both Aumento’s transaction team and Aumento’s real estate team. CLIENTS Torben’s clients include business owners, companies, property owners and investors. Torben’s real estate clients include some of the major social housing management companies in Denmark. Torben also regularly serves public authorities, including municipalities, and thereby knows about political processes. Moreover, Torben has extensive experience in assisting foreign clients with subsidiaries, real estate investments or other current or potential interests in Denmark. COMPETENCIES Torben’s competencies basically consist of a sharp legal mind, an extensive commercial insight and an ability to formulate himself clearly and understandably, also when the issues are complicated, or the fronts are pulled up hard. This is combined with – Specialist knowledge within the above areas of work– More than 25 years of experience as a lawyer, including working with diverse case          types and all types of clients– Extensive industry knowledge, particularly including the real estate, IT-, tourism-, and transport sector APPROACH Torben’s approach is thorough, exploratory, listening to the client, solution-oriented and levelheaded. At the center are the client’s best interests. Unless otherwise specifically appropriate, a tailor-made effort and solution are provided – always with a focus on the solution being immediately usable for the client.
