Jette Hassing Ronøe
For the past 15 years Jette Ronøe has specialised in employment and labour law. Jette Ronøe advises both Danish and international clients on all aspects of employment law, including termination, holiday, executive service agreements, collective dismissals, discrimination, including maternity, employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, transfer of undertakings, data protection and collective agreements. Through many years of working with international clients, she has accumulated considerable experience of global HR legal issues such as inpatriation and expatriation, social charges and the special challenges facing HR functions in international groups and organisations. She also possesses a great deal of knowledge that does not relate strictly to law, and therefore, she often acts as a consultant to managers and supports them in problem solving in HR and employment matters. At the same time, Jette Ronøe is an experienced litigator having conducted many employment law cases before the courts and arbitration tribunals, including a number of high profile cases on stock options before the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen and the Danish Supreme Court. Moreover, she is a frequent speaker and lecturer at domestic and international HR law conferences and seminars. Jette Ronøe has written several articles about employment law in Danish and international journals and magazines and has contributed to a previous revision of the well-known book: Lars Svenning Andersen: Employment Law. She is the co-author of the book: The International Expatriate Employment Handbook (Klüver). French Law Having worked closely with French law firms and notaries for many years, Jette Ronøe has the experience and knowhow to give excellent advice to her clients on a wide range of issues relating to French law, especially choice of law, inheritance, wills, transfer of real estate etc. She is the co-author of the article ”Family challenges in an international world”.
