Claus Spangenberg specializes in commercial contracts, such as in connection with the sale and purchase of businesses and the creation of cooperative relationships, framework agreements, shareholders' agreements, supply contracts etc. In addition, Claus acts as certified mediator where he guides parties in conflict through alternative dispute resolution processes. Claus also spent a fair amount of his time serving as a director on several corporate boards.

Claus has many years of experience from advising on IT and technology law, including in connection with system acquisitions, where he assists in all project phases from negotiation and drafting of contracts to implementation and approval of systems. Claus also advises on portal and cloud solutions, and on licensing and outsourcing.

In addition, Claus acts for several international companies, especially energy companies, which operate in Denmark and need assistance with compliance issues, including the proper handling of VAT and energy taxes, duty suspension, emergency stock regulations and reporting to international pollution funds.
