Niels primarily advises within corporate & commercial, including particularly on commercial contracts, company law and general commercial law.
Apart from advising on general corporate law, Niels has special expertise within the energy industry, where he previously held legal and commercial leadership positions with Maersk Drilling(now Noble Drilling) and Ocean Rig (now Transocean) (offshore drilling contractors). Niels also acts for clients within geothermal energi and other reneable energy sources.
He therefore has extensive experience with the energy industry’s contractual and regulatory matters, including matters relating to running a drilling rig as well as the potential liabilities associated with drilling rigs, energy projects, ships etc. as well as in relation to new buildings, yard stays, construction projects and similar.
Finally, Niels advises on within the anti-money laundering area, where he assists other attorneys and companies covered by the anti-money laundering act with ensuring compliance. Niels has previously been a member of the Association of Danish Law Firms - Committee for Anti-Money Laundering.
